For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve,
and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
We have been called to humbly use the gifts God has graciously given us so that others can see Christ.
Every time we walk into church on a Sunday morning,
on the worship team or not,
we have that same responsibility.
WE ARE LEADERS
Matthew 28: 19 - 20
19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
I think that pretty much sums it up.
We are the Body
I'm thankful that none of us have to be on this journey alone. When we
are in sin, we are directly hurting ourselves. However, we are
also indirectly hurting everyone around us.
Everyone.
It is vitally important that we hold each other accountable.
Proverbs 27:17
As Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.
WE ARE LOVED
We do not worship not because our love of music, or out of obligation. We worship because we were
created to be loved,
and love God.
We are designed to worship God.
As a team, let that be our one and only focus in
