Luke 24 gives the account of two men walking along the road to Emmaus. As they were walking along the road, on a journey to somewhere. Jesus drew near and walked alongside them (verses 13-16). Though their eyes did not recognize him yet, Jesus initiated conversation, asked questions, and listened to them (verses 17-24). Jesus then walked them through God's great story of redemption through scripture to the good news of the Gospel (verse 32).
As a church, we want to be a body of believers that meet people where they are on the road, walk with them along their journey, and share the good news of the Gospel, relying on the Holy Spirit to open their eyes and change their hearts.
